Solar forecasts for your own automations.

The v1 API is intentionally small: one authenticated forecast endpoint, the same validated forecast engine as the website, and conservative rate limits.

API keys belong in the Authorization header, never a URL. The endpoint does not enable cross-origin browser access by default. Identical requests share the forecast cache with the website.

Keys are generated from cryptographic random bytes and only a SHA-256 hash is stored. The plaintext key is shown once. Each key can be independently revoked.
